International High School Honors

IAA International High School Honors Programs prepare students in grades 10-12 for total success in American high school academics and admission to competitive universities.  At the core of the IAA Honors programs is a firm foundation in critical thinking skills, test preparation, subject matter competency, and personal and community leadership.

Goals & Objectives

Successful students of the program will:

Be skilled in thinking critically and analyzing across multiple subject matters
Demonstrate growth in academic goals through achieving grade-appropriate learning standards
Make gains in college test preparation through multiple avenues of learning
Reflect and take focused action towards developing their academic strengths, and personal leadership brand
Contribute as responsible global citizens through community action projects

The IAA American High School Honors program was first offered in 2008 in partnership with the Foundation College of the China Scholarship Council, a division of the China MOE.  The program was evaluated by the MOE’s expert panel and given a “Verified Certificate” in 2015.  At its height, the program served over a yearly enrollment of 1,000 students at 6 top public high schools.
